• 🎟️🎵Songwriters for Elder Housing at Trinity Park Tabernacle, 7:30p / tickets

  • A benefit for affordable housing for the Island's elderly and disabled. Featuring John Forte, Rose Guerin, Jemima James, Willy Mason, Lexie Roth, Chadwick Stokes, Ben Taylor, Isaac Taylor and Kate Taylor with special guest Geraldine Brooks.

  • Featherstone will be hosting musical performances this summer outside on the Art Barn's deck (or outdoor stage). Enjoy music on our lawn while supporting musical artists and our non profit art center. Tickets are $20 per person with 50% of proceeds from each performance going to the musicians. ​

  • “RWB 2023” will be an exclusive day-party that will celebrate unapologetic Blackness on Martha's Vineyard. Pickup and transportation to the private location will be at Martha's Vineyard Airport. Proceeds will be donated to various island organizations and Trevor R. Johnson Foundation.

  • Outdoor farmers market features locally grown produce and meat and locally made products. Restrooms and parking available.

Sunday (7/2)

• 🔄👨‍👩‍👧🎨Vineyard Artisans Summer Festival at Grange Hall, 10a-2p

  • Weekly art show where the public can meet more than 70 Island artisans and buy directly from them. Many demonstrations, weaving, fine furniture, pottery, stained glass, oil paintings, pastels, mixed media, sculpture, wampum jewelry, quilts, clothing, sea glass windows, handmade books and much more.

    Free parking, free admission, great food and a playground for kids.

  • Open Market is an ever- changing variety of locally grown produce, specialty foods, flowers, indie designers, artisans, antique and vintage dealers.

July 4th Holiday Events

• 🇺🇸 Murdick’s Run the Chop Challenge, 9a / Sign Up

  • This year the race is a 4-mile loop around West Chop, beginning at Saint Augustine Church just off Franklin Street, about 3 blocks up from the boat dock in Vineyard Haven. Meant for the whole family, the race includes a fun run for the kids starting at 8:45 a.m., followed by the main event at 9 a.m.  

• 🇺🇸 Oak Bluffs Children's 4th of July Parade -- MVCMA, 10a

  • Parade flows down Clinton Ave. and around Trinity Circle, ending by the MVCMA Cottage Museum where a treat will be waiting! All are welcome. Line up on West Clinton Avenue at 9:45 a.m. with decorated bikes, scooters, and strollers! Parade is at 10 a.m. 

• 🇺🇸 Aquinnah Fourth of July Parade and Community Picnic, 10a

  • Decorate your car; all floats welcome. Floats line up at 10 a.m. on Moshup Trail at Old South Road. The parade starts at 11 a.m. and travels around Aquinnah Circle. Prize will be awarded for the Best Float! The second annual Aquinnah Community Picnic begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Vanderhoop Homestead. Food is provided, but everyone is welcome to bring something to share (not required). This year we will have a tent, two grills, picnic tables, kites, bubbles and hula hoops!

• 🇺🇸 Edgartown Fourth of July Parade, 5p

  • Quintessential parade through the center of Edgartown with bands, floats, classic cars and a sense of history! Start time is 5 p.m. at the Edgartown School and the parade will make its way down Main street. 

• 🇺🇸 Fourth of July Firefly Night, 8p

  • Come to Felix Neck for an alternative celebration. Spend the night in the quiet woodlands as we walk in search of everyone's favorite insect, then gather by the fire for s'mores and stargazing. All ages welcome.

• 🇺🇸 Fourth of July Fireworks in Edgartown Harbor, 9p
