This weekend-long program explores the past, present, and future of the Island’s diverse food cultures. Join them for a closer look into the roots and branches of Martha’s Vineyard food, from the harvests of the first Islanders to the contemporary farm-to-table scene. Hear from experts in panels and roundtables, pick up new skills in a hands-on workshop, and sample the tastes of the Island in creatively-curated meals.

Take a Walk on the Wild Side: Nature-Inspired Drag, Felix Neck, 2-5p
Participants from near and afar will emerge from the blooming pollinator garden and delight with dance, music performances, and so much more. Gather together to elevate and celebrate the natural world in all its rainbow colors. This event is for all ages.
Birds, Beers and Queers Afterparty at PA Club, 7-9p
The fun continues as we migrate from Felix Neck down to the P.A. Club in Oak Bluffs to shake those tail feathers with DJ Pretty Ninja and celebrate nature in all its queeerness.
Annual Cross-Island Island Hike at Big Bridge, 8a
This is a day-long, guided hike that differs each year and is ordinarily less than 20 miles in length and most participants elect to walk only a portion of the hike’s route, using the itinerary times and information provided on this website to plan their personal starting and ending points.
Locals: A Night of Improv Comedy at Grange Hall, 7p
A cast of Island performers will compete for your laughs by using their wits, and suggestions from the audience, in improvisational theater right on the spot.

4-H Farm Animal Meet and Greet at Ag Hall, 10a-1p
Visit with animals from local farms including Grey Barn and North Tabor Farm at this fundraiser for Martha’s Vineyard 4-H! All ages welcome.
Land of 1,000 Dances at MVRHS Performing Arts Center, 10a
RISE Vineyard Performing Arts presents a show for all ages featuring the choreographic styles of jazz, tap, ballet, acrobatics, contemporary, and hip hop! Styles include iconic moments in time from the waltz, polka and cha cha to the hustle, the twist and gangnam style.
