Friday (1/5)

• Lunch Lecture: Yoga and Mindfulness with Jason Mazar-Kelly, 12p

Join us to gain insight into the therapeutic benefits of these practices, discover practical applications, and experience guided meditation. (Registration Closed)

• Community Suppers at Grace Church, 5p

• We Dance: Salsa Class and DJ Dance Party at PathwayARTS, 7p

  • Christina Montoya teaches a free salsa dance class followed by a salsa class practice beginning at 7:30. DJ dancing starts at 8 p.m. No experience necessary - all ages.

• Dinks & Drinks at Airport Fitness, 6-7:30p

Saturday (1/6)

• Artisanal Breads of the World with Vineyard Baker at FARM Institute, 10a

  • Travel the world through the lens of bread! Join Teri Culetto for these hands-on, bi-weekly Saturday morning workshops to learn the art of bread. Each participant will take home a loaf of their own making. On Jan. 6, we will make English muffins. Pre-registration required.

• Met Opera Live: Nabucco at MV Film Center, 12:55p

  • On Jan. 6, ancient Babylon comes to life in a classic Met staging of biblical proportions

• Live Music: BlueSwitch Blues Band at PA Club, 8p

  • Jump blues music and dancing. $10 cover charge. 

• Live Music: The Back Porch Trio at Black Dog Bakery, 5-7p

Sunday (1/7)

• Barn Buddies at Ag Hall, 3p

  • Join the Family Center staff and other caregivers and their kids for a fun indoor program at the Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury. We have bikes, trikes, scooters and all kinds of games for children ages 18 months to 8 years old. Bring the family! 

• Offering of Music and Light at Chilmark Community Church, 5-7p

  • Island artists and musicians present free Offering of Music and Light to brighten the darker days. Music, candle lighting, Refreshments. Free; all are welcome!
