Joyful Eatings Benefitting Harbor Homes at Federated Church, 2:30-4:30
Join chef Brent Turner of Rosewater for this week's Joyful Eatings, a program that brings professional island chefs and volunteers together each Sunday afternoon to creatively prepare a meal for the Harbor Homes overnight shelter. Volunteer 'sous chefs' learn some yummy recipes, cooking techniques, enjoy a tasting, and help provide a delicious, nutritious meal for some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Sign up to be a volunteer sous chef. Pre-registration required.
37th Anniversary Burns Nicht Supper at The Loft, 5p
The Scottish Society of Martha's Vineyard cordially invites you to the in-person Burns Nicht Supper, an institution of Scottish life, a night to celebrate the life and genius of Scotland's national bard, Robert Burns. Enjoy an evening of pageantry and festivity including Highland piping and Scottish songs. The event will be held at The Loft in Oak Bluffs.
