Friday (12/29)

• Holiday Book Sale at Chilmark Library, Weds-Sat starts at 10:30a (everything left is free until 1/5)

• Community Suppers at Grace Church, 5p

• Trivia Night at Black Dog Cafe, 6-8p

• Dinks & Drinks at Airport Fitness, 6-7:30p

• Exhibit Opening Reception: Winter Blooms Show at Louisa Gould Gallery, 4p

  • Visit the Louisa Gould Gallery for an opening reception celebrating a new exhibit titled Winter Blooms. 

Saturday (12/30)

• Live Music: Johnny Hoy and Delanie Pickering at Black Dog Bakery Cafe, 5p

• Live Music: Chilmark Potluck Jam at Chilmark Community Center, 5p

Sunday (12/31)

• Songs of Hope at Unintarian Universalist Society, 10a

  • What better way to ring in the new year than by filling the air with songs of hope?  UUSMV's pianists Jeremy Berlin and Peter Halperin, will share their songs of hope selections; some are popular old favorites and others are original compositions. Shelagh Hackett will be our guest vocalist. 

• Film Screening: Ferrari at MV Film Center, 4p

  • Celebrate New Year's Eve Italian style with a screening of the new film Ferrari starring Adam Driver and Penelope Cruz. Complimentary prosecco, Italian sweets, and pianist/singer David Hannon starting at 3 p.m. in our lobby.  

• Live Music: New Year's Eve with Serendipity at the P.A. Club, 8:30p

  • $10 cover charge, light snacks, champagne toast. 

The following restaurants are having special New Years Even menus: Alchemy, Salvatore’s, State Road, The Terrace, Outermost Inn. Lookout Tavern will close for the season on 1/1/24.

• January 1 - First Day Hike at Menemsha Hills

• January 1 - 16th Annual Offshore Ale - Lazy Frog Disc Golf Tournament: Happy 2024 at Riverhead Disc Golf Course

  • Play a fun disc golf contest on New Year's Day! Open to all players at all skill levels. Register at Offshore at 9:30 a.m. and enjoy breakfast sandwiches. Event starts at 11:30 a.m. After-party and awards ceremony will be held at the Portuguese American Club! 

• January 4 - Ukulele Jam at WT Library

• January 6 - Artisanal Breads of the World with Vineyard Baker at FARM Institute

• January 6 - Met Opera Live: Nabucco at MV Film Center

• January 7 - Barn Buddies at Ag Hall

• January 11 - Coffee & Conversations at The Carnegie: The Art of Performance

• January 12 - Interfaith Community Service in Honor of Rev. Martin Luther King and Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel at MV Hebrew Center
