What To Do This Weekend

Friday (1/12)

• The Friday Reset at MV Museum, 5-8p / tickets

  • Join MVM each Friday this winter for an evening of board games, crafts, puzzles, light bites, and a special featured activity each week. Whether you're crafting, playing games, or enjoying live performances, there's a way for everyone to unwind. Savor a complimentary light bite and beverage, immerse yourself in our exhibitions, and maybe even win a prize! / Featured Activity for January 12: Join us for Vineyard-themed trivia with Ray Whitaker from 6 to 7 p.m. Compete in a team or test your knowledge solo for a chance to win a prize. / Admission: $20 MVM members, $25 non-members. Admission each week includes a light snack, admission to the featured activity, a craft (including materials), and the opportunity to explore the museum.

  • Join us this fall and winter for the always fun and informative Winter Walks series. Get outdoors, take in the Island’s scenic beauty, and learn the interesting conservation history of some of our local ecological treasures.

• Songwriting Workshop with Heartwood at Slough Farm, 10a-4p / info

  • Join our artists in residence in a workshop to discover and release the songs you have within! This workshop will lead you on a journey of inner discovery, helping you find your voice and commune with your surroundings to create simple songs that tell your individual story. No experience necessary, bring your imagination, creativity, and voice!

    On-site lunch will be provided.

  • Organized by the Vineyard Haven Public Library. Stay active and have fun! We will start with a traditional doubles warm up, play a set or two, then sweep the courts before we leave. Winning will not be expected. Registration is not required. We will keep this casual pick-up game going, weather permitting, through the season.
