  • Featuring many different island artisans, Featherstone is excited to host another year of the Holiday Gift Show! Come support your local artist community and shop

• 🎄World Market Holiday Shop at Capawock Theatre, 10a-6p (Sun too)

  • Holiday pop-up market featuring crafts from Haiti, India, Africa, Middle East and Guatemala.

  • PathwaysArts monthly free Ocean Film Screening for the 2023-2024 season begins with a full-length feature: Collision: Along with entanglement in fishing gear, collisions with commercial vessels is the number one cause of non-natural death in large whales. All ages welcome to enjoy this educational film. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday (11/18)

• 🍁West Tisbury Winter Farmers' Market at Agricultural Hall, 10a-1p

  • Enjoy the winter version of the West Tisbury Farmers' Market, held indoors at the Agricultural Hall. 

• 👨‍👩‍👧 Truckin' MV at MVRHS, 10a-1p

  • Truckin’ MV encourages children of all ages to interact with and meet the “truckers” that drive some of the coolest vehicles on Martha’s Vineyard. Police cruisers, fire trucks, dump trucks, container trucks, excavators and many more types of vehicles will be on display. Come for the trucks but stay for the fun-filled activities that make this a family affair. Childrens' music, food, face painting, raffle tickets, and airbrush art will be available for purchase at the event. This is a free, all-ages event open to the public. 

• 🎵Met Opera Live: X: The Life and Times of Malcolm X at MV Film Center, 12:55p

  • Anthony Davis’s groundbreaking and influential opera, which premiered in 1986, arrives at in cinemas on Nov. 18.

• 🎵Sounds of Autumn Concert Series: Lucas Ostinato Trio at Edgartown Public Library, 6:30-7:30p

  • Enjoy an enchanting combination of traditional Brazilian music and jazz with the Lucas Ostinato Trio.

Sunday (11/19)

• ☀️Guided Walk at Phillips Preserve (Sheriff's Meadow Foundation), 10a-12p

  • Join Sheriff's Meadow Foundation for a walk through the pitch pine and oak woodlands of Phillips Preserve down to the shore of Lake Tashmoo at Aunt Rhoda’s Pond for a view of Wood Island. Guided walks are free and open to the public. Please use link to register.

• 🎵MV Chamber Music Society Concert at Edgartown Public Library, 4-6p

  • Join the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber Music Society for its annual Thanksgiving concert, featuring New England Conservatory ensemble Trio Gaia, with violinist Grant Houston, cellist Yi-Mei Templeman and pianist Andrew Barnwell. Composers whose works will be played include Gabriela Lena Frank, Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms.
