It'll be another great year, including: a show with Amity Island Horse Archers, crafts for kids and adults, touch tanks, our Antique Power Museum, the West Tisbury Farmers Market, wool spinning and indigo-dyeing demos, cider pressing, seed saving demos, pumpkin carving, the Local Wild Food Challenge, a tractor pull and excavator olympics, deer breakdown demos, local farm animals, a pie-baking contest, a pie-eating contest, wagon rides, face painting, local food vendors, and more!
Ayurveda for the Fall: Lifestyle and Diet Practices for Balance at FARM Institute, 11a-1p / info
We will begin with a 45-minute embodiment practice consisting of gentle movement and a guided meditation. This is followed by sitting down for a shared Ayurvedic-inspired lunch. We will spend the afternoon creating a fall spice blend that you can take home & going over basic Ayurvedic guidelines for fall living, including supporting practices and dietary choices.
Please bring a yoga mat, and a notebook! Pre-registration is required for all Farm Institute kitchen classes.
