Wow, that was a long January.
⏱️ This Week on MVacay
Whenever I see questions about how to find housing during the summer, internet trolls echo the same answers over and over “Too late, too hard, not worth trying, give up, etc etc” - What about some real, practical advice people!? Good thing I’ve got ya! Here’s the article that you send your cousin who just scored an internship on MV this summer:
🗺️ What To Do This Weekend
⭐ MVacay Picks
Eat: Don’t we all love to eat carbs for a cause? Vineyard Baker is doing a fundraiser for World Central Kitchen. DM, text or email the contact info and order (by 2/1) some fresh sourdough bread or cookies for ~$20 with pickup next weekend.
Go To: MV Glassworks in West Tisbury is such a fun place to stop in this time of year. While you browse the glass you can watch them IRL glass-blowing 10-4, Weds-Sun. I’ll keep dreaming that they offer classes one day…
Try: The Sunny Side MV in Vineyard Haven is doing Friendship Fridays in February, where you can bring the kiddos to make friendship bracelets in-store (ages 6+) for $25. Email her to register for a 4 or 6p slot - a perfect mom + daughter Galentine’s activity.
