📍Island Updates
The Vineyard Haven Library will close in mid-April for renovations expected to last six to 12 months, with an interim location set up at 15 Church Street.
MVTap has simplified its plan for the former Golden Bull location at Five Corners and will now operate as a single restaurant, pending final approvals; officials suggested adding a barrier around the patio to address safety concerns.
Edgartown’s Main Street construction began this week and will continue for three weeks as the highway department upgrades drainage, sewer lines, and repaves the road; brief closures are expected during repaving on April 14.
The Carnegie Heritage Center reopens today with spring hours Fridays and Saturdays, 11a-3p
Slough Farm is offering a 5-day Culinary Intensive from 5/5-5/9 with hands-on training in essential cooking skills, techniques, and kitchen safety, apply here.
