This pocket guide is intended to be your go-to place for the fair’s schedule so when you arrive you have clear knowledge of what to do! Enjoy!

Overview:
The Ag Fair takes places from 8/15-8/18 - Thursday, Friday + Saturday from 10a-11p and on Sunday 10a-6p
If you want to enter something into the fair, the deadline is 8/11.
Logistics:
Buying Entrance Tickets: Online Fair tickets are available on Eventbrite. You can buy in advance to skip the lines, or in-person at the ticket booths.
Cost: $15 for adults (ages 13–61), $10 for veterans and seniors (62+) and kids (ages 5–12), free for ages 4 and under.
Buying Game Tickets: You can pre-buy tickets and ticket packages here directly from the amusements vendor. Rides run from 11a-11p daily. You can also buy credits and ride tickets in person at the fair or via a provided QR Code.
Presale (until 8/14) Discounts: 100 credits + 2 rides = $102
20 credits = $22
The Ferris Wheel is 6 Credits
How to Get There:
Drive: Car parking at the Fair will be $10 - CASH
Bike: Free bike racks are available at the Fair entrance on Panhandle Road.
Take the VTA Bus:
Vineyard Haven: VH SSA to Fair (15 past the hour, 10:15 AM–10:15 PM), Fair to VH SSA (45 past the hour, 10:45 AM–10:45 PM)
Edgartown: Church Street to Fair (14 past the hour, 10:14 AM–10:14 PM), Fair to Church Street (43 past the hour, 10:43 AM–10:43 PM)
Oak Bluffs: OB to Fair (Take Route #9, transfer at MV Airport to the Ag Fair bus at 26 minutes past the hour), Fair to OB (Take Ag Fair bus at 43 past to MV Airport and transfer to Route #7)
Other Things to Know
No Dogs
No Drinking or Smoking
The Carnival Rides open at 11a daily
At various times throughout the fair you will be able to find the following local food vendors: Bill Smith, Bobby B’s, Cajun & Creole Cooking, Catboat Coffee, Chef Deon, Cozy’s Last Stand, Floaters, Goldie’s Rotisserie, Ophelia’s, Reunion Pizza, Sweet Bites, The Food Truck, West Tisbury Fire Department, YEM Vegan and Yommi Foods.
I suggest wearing close-toed shoes due to the flooring in the farm area and dirt overall
They give you a stamp when you exit so you can re-enter the same-day if needed.
Food and Merch were both surprisingly very reasonably priced! Adult Tees are $35, and most lunch options ranged between $10-20 .
Parent Tips:
The ‘Baby Central’ area has a changing area, rocking chairs and small toys for kids who need a break. It’s close to quiet, shady tables for snacks too.
There is a daily Story Hour under the tent at 10:30 daily, Saturday’s is bilingual
I suggest going to the animal area first and ending with the food/rides. It’s free and very entertaining with lots to do
The terrain can be rough and crowded, so I wore a baby carrier for my 1 y/o instead of bringing a stroller and was glad I did. The walking was short so my 2/yo was fine without a stroller.
You can buy a ticket for the day and go in the morning and again after nap with your re-entry hand stamp.
Fair T-shirts are reasonably priced at $15 for toddler/onesies and $25 for youth
