This constantly evolving list of businesses will continue to be updated as new businesses, restaurants and expansions come to the scene in Summer 2023. Congratulations to all the incredibly brave entrepreneurs, we wish you the best of luck this season!

New Businesses
Catboat Coffee - the new home to MV Cheesery and Epicure, this coffee shop is located in Tisbury Marketplace and features grazing boxes, coffee and Lebanese treats.
La Strada - a new restaurant opening soon by the owners of Salvatore’s on Main Street, VH
Lilikoi - this new poke and acai bar is located across from Granite Hardware in Edgartown
Notalot - small, seasonal farm stand and pre-made food on Kennebec in OB
Bombay Indian Cuisine - replacing what was formerly Smokehouse, and Sarah Brown’s location in Oak Bluffs
Locals Only - the tentative name for the new taqueria opening at Old Stone Bank does not yet have an opening date but we are looking forward to it! It will be a 30-seat lunch spot
Ontime Catering - the new catering concept run by Chef Jimmy Alvarado of TigerHawk is a great addition to our island catering scene
Social Coast Mobile Bar - event bartending and cocktail classes
Bubbles & Brews - new mobile bar for events
Ice Cream Shop - opening in June next to Toy Box in Tisbury Marketplace (name TBD)
Blackbird Cafe - breakfast + lunch spot opening in the formerly Murdick’s cafe spot in Edgartown
Eleven Circuit - same ownership as the former MV Flavors, same location, different name!
Expansions, Ownership Changes + Movement
New Owners!
Linda Jeans - New ownership from owner and chef of Winston’s Kitchen
The Attic at Waterside - Rebranding for the former La Soffitta, same ownership
The Strand Theatre - under new ownership with expanded programming
Faraway - the former Kelley House Hotel in Edgartown has had a multi-year renovation and will re-open in July

Mikado Hawaiian BBQ Oak Bluffs - A second location to their VH restaurant
Aquila at YMCA - A second location to their Aquinnah coffee shop
Square Rigger by Nina’s - under new ownership
Aalia’s Coffee will expand to Aalia’s PM which will eventually include drinks + snacks at night on Kennebec
Moving!
Conrado - Moved down Main Street in Vineyard Haven
Red Cat Kitchen - Moved locations to the old location of Oyster Bar 02557, same ownership and chef
Brickyard Bicycles moved to 68 Holmes Hole Rd VH*
Untameable Gallery moved from Dock St to S. Summer St
Other Island Changes
Edgartown Farmer's Market - The market will take place on the Dr. Daniel Fisher House’s lower lawn and garden and will run on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from the end of June through September.
Renovations - The old souvenir shop next to the flying horses is under renovation. You’ll also notice Healy Square in Oak Bluffs has been redone, and sidewalks in Vineyard Haven have been expanded to be more accessible.
