🌹 Itinerary: Planning a Romantic Weekend on MV
the most romantic locations to visit when on MV as a couple
Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary or going for a honeymoon, a relaxing getaway to Martha’s Vineyard can make for one of the most romantic weekends. Our charming little island gives you the quaint BnB’s that scream New England Charm, walks along the beach can be refreshing. With much of the island staying open year-round, it’s not the summer-only destination many assume. There’s a great reason to visit any time of year. We’ve rounded up our favorite picks for a romantic getaway below!
Traveling to MV
We suggest staying for at least 2 nights to get a full MV experience (after the travel + the ferry, it’s definitely worth the extra night!)
We suggest bringing (aboard the ferry) or renting a car if possible, as the island is quite large and some of the more private spots can be a bit of a drive!

Where to Stay
The hotels below are those that are more geared towards couples, and many of which are located near romantic views or walking distance to the picturesque spots you’re dreaming of! Keep in mind these book up early for summer months and often have a 2-night minimum. Some of these options are only available during the summer season.
HarborView Hotel and Winnetu are best bets for a resort-style feel in Edgartown. They include restaurants on the property, have shuttles/complimentary rental cars, and top tier service
Lark Hotels and HobKnob are two collections in downtown Edgartown that we love!
Lambert’s Cove Inn is a great pick if you’d like a more remote experience
Morgan Hotel is a great pic if you’d like to stay in Oak Bluffs
