Grab your reusable tote and support our local makers! Outdoor markets are popular during the summer, and I’ve marked the start and end dates for each one below. There are also plenty of pop-ups and special markets in the off-season, so keep an eye on Weekend Updates for those.

🌾 Chilmark Flea Market
Location: 142 North Rd, Chilmark
2026 Dates and Times: 2026 Dates and Times: Wednesdays + Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM | June 27 – September 12
Description: Visit the oldest outdoor flea market on the Island, offering antiques, imports, vintage finds, and high-quality handmade items from Vineyard artists and craftsmen. Discover jewelry, clothing, art, food, and much more in a scenic setting. Free entry and parking, weather pending.
🍰 Edgartown Village Market
Location: Dr. Daniel Fisher House, Edgartown
2026 Dates and Times: Tuesdays, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | June 16 – September 1
Description: A biker- and pedestrian-friendly open-air market in the heart of Edgartown's historic district. Shop farm-fresh produce, flowers, provisions, and one-of-a-kind artisan goods while connecting with local growers and makers.
🎨 First Friday Vineyard Haven
Location: Vineyard Haven Harbor District
2026 Dates and Times:
June 5 • July 3 • August 7 • September 4 • October 2 • December 4
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Daytime Art Market on Beach St. Extension
5:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Live music, local food + artist vendors, and a silent disco at Owen Park
Notes or Special Markets:Walkable from the ferry and held throughout the Vineyard Haven Harbor Cultural District. Many local shops offer First Friday-only specials and extended hours during the June–October season.
Description: A free community-inspired event celebrating local art and culture, based on the nationwide "First Friday" concept. Pop-up markets, music, food, and family fun in downtown Vineyard Haven.
🌸 Oak Bluffs Open Market
Location: Washington Park, Oak Bluffs
2026 Dates and Times: Sundays, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | May 24 – TBD
Notes or Special Markets: Hours may shift to 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM earlier in the season.
Description: Enjoy Sundays by the harbor with an ever-changing mix of local produce, flowers, specialty foods, indie designers, and vintage finds. Live music during the final hours of the market.
🧶 Vineyard Artisans Festival
Location: Grange Hall, West Tisbury (moves to Agricultural Hall or Union Chapel after August)

Thursdays, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | July 2 – August 27
Memorial Day Weekend Festival: May 23–24, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Labor Day Weekend Festival: September 4, 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM + September 5–6, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Vineyard Artisans Fall Festival: October 10–11, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Vineyard Artisans Thanksgiving Festival: November 27–28, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Locations may shift later in the season depending on venue scheduling.
Description: A beloved Island tradition and the only weekly juried art show on the Vineyard. Meet over 70 local artists and see live demonstrations in weaving, pottery, painting, sculpture, and more.
🌽 West Tisbury Farmers’ Market
Location: Agricultural Hall, West Tisbury
2026 Dates and Times:
Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | June 6 – October 31
Wednesdays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | June 10 – August 26
Notes or Special Markets: During Agricultural Fair Week (August 12, 15, 19, and 22), the market temporarily moves to the Grange Hall. Special indoor winter markets are typically held later in the season at the Grange Hall. Free parking and admission. SNAP/EBT accepted. No dogs allowed.
Description: Founded in 1974, this outdoor market is a hub for fresh produce, local meats, flowers, baked goods, and other handmade products. A longstanding tradition for both year-round residents and summer visitors. Restrooms and ample parking available.
🛍️ Nomans Night Market
Location: Nomans, 15 Island Inn Road, Oak Bluffs
2026 Dates and Times: NOT CONFIRMED FOR 2026
Description: Shop local island-made goods, enjoy live music, and grab eats and drinks in one of Oak Bluffs’ most fun outdoor spaces. This Monday night market brings together community vibes and curated finds.
