Grab your reusable tote and support our local makers! Outdoor markets are popular during the summer, and I’ve marked the start and end dates for each one below. There are also plenty of pop-ups and special markets in the off-season, so keep an eye on Weekend Updates for those.
This guide includes everything you need to know for 2025 including weekly schedules, extended holiday weekends, and venue changes. Bookmark it and check back as updates are announced!
🌾 Chilmark Flea Market
Location: 142 North Rd, Chilmark
2025 Dates and Times:
Wednesdays + Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM | June 25 – September 6
Description: Visit the oldest outdoor flea market on the Island, offering antiques, imports, vintage finds, and high-quality handmade items from Vineyard artists and craftsmen. Discover jewelry, clothing, art, food, and much more in a scenic setting. Free entry and parking, weather pending.
🍰 Edgartown Village Market
Location: Dr. Daniel Fisher House, Edgartown
2025 Dates and Times: Tuesdays, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | June 17 – August 26
Description: A biker- and pedestrian-friendly open-air market in the heart of Edgartown's historic district. Shop farm-fresh produce, flowers, provisions, and one-of-a-kind artisan goods while connecting with local growers and makers.
🎨 First Friday Vineyard Haven
Location: Vineyard Haven Harbor District
2025 Dates and Times:
June 6, July 4, August 1, September 5, October 3
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Daytime Art Market on Beach St. Extension
5:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Live music, local food + artist vendors, and a silent disco at Owen Park
Notes or Special Markets: Walkable from the ferry! Many local shops offer First Friday-only specials during the June–October season.
Description: A free community-inspired event celebrating local art and culture, based on the nationwide "First Friday" concept. Pop-up markets, music, food, and family fun in downtown Vineyard Haven.
🌸 Oak Bluffs Open Market
Location: Washington Park, Oak Bluffs
2025 Dates and Times: Sundays, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | May 25 – October 12
Notes or Special Markets: Hours may shift to 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM earlier in the season.
Description: Enjoy Sundays by the harbor with an ever-changing mix of local produce, flowers, specialty foods, indie designers, and vintage finds. Live music during the final hours of the market.
🧶 Vineyard Artisans Festival
Location: Grange Hall, West Tisbury (moves to Agricultural Hall or Union Chapel after August)

Sundays, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | June 15 – August 31
Thursdays, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | July 3 – August 28
Memorial Day Weekend Festival: May 24–25 at Grange Hall
Labor Day Weekend Festival: August 29–31 at Agricultural Hall
Vineyard Artisans Thanksgiving Festival: November 29–30 at Agricultural Hall
Vineyard Artisans Holiday Show: December 20–21 at Dr. Daniel Fisher House
Notes or Special Markets: After August, Vineyard Artisans shows shift from Grange Hall to Agricultural Hall (Labor Day Weekend) or Union Chapel (September events) due to construction.
Description: A beloved Island tradition and the only weekly juried art show on the Vineyard. Meet over 70 local artists and see live demonstrations in weaving, pottery, painting, sculpture, and more.
🌽 West Tisbury Farmers’ Market
Location: Agricultural Hall, West Tisbury
2025 Dates and Times:
Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | June 7 – October 25
Wednesdays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | June 11 – August 27
Notes or Special Markets: During Agricultural Fair Week (August 20, 23, and 27), the market temporarily moves to the Grange Hall. Special indoor winter markets are held at the Grange Hall on November 22, December 6, and December 20.
Description: Founded in 1974, this outdoor market is a hub for fresh produce, local meats, flowers, baked goods, and other handmade products. A longstanding tradition for both year-round residents and summer visitors. Restrooms and ample parking available.
