Welcome to MVacay!

We created MVacay to streamline the visitor experience into Martha’s Vineyard’s first-ever app. Founded in 2020, we realized visitors aren’t planning their trips to the island with several different websites anymore, and instead are traveling exclusively with their phones. We wanted to provide an accessible solution for non-islanders to navigate and explore the best of the island with one, on-the-go App.

About the Founders

Elisabeth (Lis) + Courtland (Court) = LissiLand

Lis and Court founded MVacay in 2020 with a deep enthusiasm and love for all that Martha’s Vineyard has to offer. We decided to combine our talents and passions to create something to give back to the island, which has given us and our families so many special memories together.

Lis has been a teacher and blogger for 10 years in Boston, and is the face behind partnerships, content and writing of MVacay’s Instagram and Blog.

We’ve been coming to Martha’s Vineyard for over 15 years, and see such strength and opportunity within this community. We spend a great deal of time there at our family’s home during the off-season.

Court has been in the hospitality and tech industries for the past 10 years, and is the face behind the graphic design, app and web development of MVacay.
